Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

Kingsgate Hotel Paihia offers a memorable waterfront location, just 100 metres from Paihia wharf. The hotel offers views across the Bays brilliant blue sea and out to Russell. Situated within 5 minutes' walk of local shops and dining options, the hotel offers an ideal base to explore the scenic and historic Bay of Islands. Excellent location and the view, super friendly staff, room was nice and clean.

Ala Moana Motel is located on the waterfront in central Paihia. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV with 50 satellite channels and a patio. Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator and an electric kettle. Featuring a shower, the private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms feature sea views. Very spacious room with everything you need: equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, nice separate bedroom, cleaned daily, you can park just outside your room. The view is right on the water. Loved the owner, very nice guy, helped us with everything, even arranging some activities around. Best oysters in the restaurant next door!

Waitangi Holiday Park provides an ideal base to explore Northland and the Bay of Islands. Situated on the banks of the Waitange River, it is close to Te Tii Bay and local beaches.

This holiday park is within walking distance to the Paihia village and a short ferry trip to Russell. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes' walk away. Within 10 minutes' walk is the Historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds where you can discover how New Zealand began in 1840. Awesome arrangements & hospitality

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The apartment features family rooms. The property was very well equipped. It had a lovely view and the host was excellent.

Austria Motel Paihia is 4 minutes’ drive from the famous Waitangi Treaty Grounds, and 10 minutes’ drive from Haruru Falls. Kerikeri Airport is a 25-minute drive away. A very nice place to stay in Paihia. Stayed 3 nights, we were very comfortable. Self-contained and close to the town. Highly recommended.
