Ohakune Railway Station is 3 minutes' drive away. Spacious, modern well-appointed unit that provided comfy, warm accommodation on a cold winter's night high up in the mountains. After a good sleep, we were treated to bright sunshine, crisp air and splendid views as we wandered around the town.

Amazing stargazing just outside the camp if you have clear nights. The room was comfortable and clean - what you would expect from a holiday park setting - and the shared kitchen is functional if a bit small for the number of people staying.
