Nice staff, expecially at the reception. Confortable beds. Amazing terrace view and good location. The last hostel of the st Christopher's chain i did not visit yet and i am please to know all of them now. Good stay overall.

Clean and tidy, was ok for a budget hotel

Beautiful location in the village, with a casual comfy atmosphere, was able to change rooms for a sea view at no extra cost due to being out of season. Rooms were very good and clean.

Spacious rooms. The host was very welcoming. The place was homey, feels like you’re staying with family. Lots of little touches 🌷🍪🥛 We should all avoid big chains such as Premier inn and help small local businesses like this. No comparison.

The Chain Locker is exceptionally well presented and the staff are helpful and friendly. The view is superb and the breakfast was stunning!

This guesthouse has it all - free parking, beautifully appointed, well-equipped rooms and an excellent continental breakfast with plenty of choice (cereals, toast, pastries, fruit, yoghurts,…) all within a short (7 minute) walk of the concert hall and city centre with its cathedral, some great architecture and a wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants (the usual chains and many independent ones). The hosts gave us a warm welcome and lots of useful information upon arrival.

Location was perfect, staff were wonderfully accommodating, the hotel was comfortable and clean, breakfast was fantastic! The uniformity of a big chain hotel is missing but in my opinion that is not a negative.

For the price we were expecting more along the lines of a surf hostel and were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely hotel with a casual seaside vibe. We had the cosy rooms which although small were exceptionally clean and comfortable and perfect for our 1 night stay. If we were staying for a week we might choose a bigger room for a sea view. The bar area and terrace are lovely and the location, close to Fistral Beach and the town, couldn't be better. With a free car park, food available and friendly staff Oceanside is recommended 100%

We loved the friendliness of the staff and owners. We couldn’t fault our stay as the food was great and rooms very clean and nothing was too much trouble for your staff. We like the fact it was more homely than the chain hotels.
