Basic business hotel

It is a budget hotel, so your expectations should be relative to that. The service for the money is very good, it is a great option for staying couple of days, staff is super kind and helpful, location is very central.

Motel One is a great chain of hotels and you know that the facilities and the services will always be very good. In addition to this the hotel was centrally located and the roof top bar was excellent for breakfast and cocktails in the evening.

I always knew that it was a basic budget hotel and that was reflected in the comparatively low price compared to other hotels. There were limited previous reviews but they were generally bad and so I was forewarned. The bed linen was clean and the small bathroom was adequate with hot water for the shower, except on the last morning. The location was excellent for the centre of Scheveningen and beach. Free wifi that actually worked well.

Conveniently located close (15 min walk/4 minutes by tram) to train station (I had to take the EuroStar early in the morning. Typical business hotel, but nothing wrong with that. Friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable bed. didnt have breakfast because of early departure.

Reasonable hotel for a location if you want to visit the University / Rotterdam Business School and the surrounding business park area. OK business hotel with actually a nice rich breakfast that gave good variety (cross-cultural options even). Pancakes comes from an automatic pancake machine. I like fresh pancakes but not these machined ones! So other than that part the breakfast is really good and if you can get it with the hotel rate - its a deal - though I am not sure I would splurge close to 20 Euros on it.
