This was the most amazing little cottage in Ella. It is located 20 min walk or 10 min tuktuk out of town with the most amazing and peaceful view. The owner is an amazing host and can organise tuktuks at reasonable rates, provide hiking directions and all kinds of support on organising activities while you are in Ella. The cottage is also super close to Ella rock if you like hiking. Breakfast was delicious and we also had dinner one night and the food was 10/10!

Everything was perfect!! The manager was incredible and really helped us with the activities !! The view from our room was incredible ! I highly recommend this hotel ! It was the best hotel that I did in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lanka breakfast was amazing

What did we like - EVERYTHING 🥰 Fabulous family run business (just 3 cabins) in the most stunning setting. Our cabin was private, spacious, incredibly comfortable and luxurious, with everything you could wish for, including a pool. Brilliant breakfast whether you choose Sri Lankan or Western style. The fabulous family will immediately help with any questions/information/help you require and will go out of their way for you 24/7 Whilst the location is a 10 minute tuk tuk ride from down town Ella - no problem, as they have their own driver who will accommodate any requests.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We had a truly wonderful stay at Nature Lodge Bandarawela! The place exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a perfect home away from home with everything thoughtfully provided. The lodge comes with a fully equipped kitchen—complete with kitchenware, spices, and all the essentials, making it easy and convenient to prepare meals. There’s a cozy living area with a TV, fridge, and a comfortable sofa bed, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bedroom is spacious, featuring a double bed and a bunk bed, perfect for couples, families or groups. The bathroom has hot water, and the entire property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A special thanks to Mr. Lal, who made our stay extra special. Every morning, he served a delicious breakfast right on time, and was always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and we truly appreciated the peace of mind provided by the CCTV cameras around the property—it's very secure, so there’s no need to worry. Overall, this place is absolutely worth the money. It’s a peaceful, clean, and welcoming environment. We highly recommend Nature Lodge to anyone visiting Bandarawela!

Rustic Cottage is a tree house paradise nestled into the quieter side streets of Ella. The host family are wonderful and looked after me so well. The accommodation itself is one of a kind, the bathroom is one of a kind, and the whole place is very unique. The views are amazing and the breakfast too! I'd 100% recommend you stay here.

Excellent property with excellent host. Who messaged me a day earlier to inform about room will be ready. Followed up until I come. Offered drinks, given umbrella to ensure we don’t get wet while visiting Ella. Excellent breakfast was prepared. Also follow up after I checked out to ensure everything was all right.
