Modern, very well designed apartment walking distance from the centre and the beach. A bargain value, everything was really well thought out, clean and nice, with a terrace. Would recommend for couples and solo travelers alike. Host was very friendly, communicative. He also rents out scooters for good value.

This apartment blew my socks off! It was spacious, with a nice design and open concept, which is so important. The bedroom was cozy and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. There was even a pool although it was being worked on so we didn't get a chance to use it but we definitely will the next time we rent!

The house is perfectly located as a place from where you can go on foot to several very attractive hiking trails. All of these trails have a loop option and you can return home by a different route. For guests with a car, there is also a very good and quick access to the levadas and trails in the area of ​​Santana and Sao Jorge and to the Sao Lorenco peninsula. You can get there earlier and much faster than from Funchal, which is very important if you want to find a parking space. In addition, in the morning there was always fresh homemade bread or buns waiting at the door.

You wake up in the morning and go out and you see amazing views of the valley. The location is also very good to access the north of the island but also the south. The apartment is clean and it is styled on the old period houses of Madeira. The host is very very helpful.

I recently visited this property and was truly impressed. It's beautifully maintained, in a great location, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.     The host was nice and welcome. I you have any questions, he and his family lives next to you're house. I like the view near the village and the sounds of the nature and villages. There are basic ingrediënts in the kitchen and soaps in the bathroom. Every morning you will get soms fresh bread, the host is happy to help!
