The views from the cottage were delightful, and there were plenty of routes for walking the dogs. The property itself was clean, well-stocked with kitchen equipment, and with comfortable furnishings. As a family we had a very relaxing time at the cottage, and thoroughly enjoyed the nature and surroundings. The only feedback that I could give (although please note that it's not negative) is regarding recycling: as a non-Danish speaking citizen I was not always entirely sure of what items go where in the various bins. We wanted to do this thoroughly, but I suspect that a few items may have gone in the wrong place (Sorry!). So my feedback would be perhaps a series of pictures for the 4/5 bins could be more helpful than mostly text.

Since it was just the two of us, there was plenty of space, but it would also be very comfortable for two couples. The bedrooms are identical, both with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are spacious—especially compared to our previous experiences in Danish hotels. The kitchen is very well equipped: we were able to cook and eat every day. It includes a stove, microwave, enough plates and utensils, and even a dishwasher! However, we weren’t able to get the oven working, and we couldn’t find a washing machine. We especially loved the living room—it has a large table, perfect for eating or working, and a comfy couch for relaxing. The house is located on an amazing Danish island, and we enjoyed unbelievable sunsets over the sea right from our window and balcony. There is a bus to Rudkøbing, but having a car makes things much easier (there’s dedicated parking). The town is small but has several supermarkets and restaurants. We highly recommend Rudkøbing Fisk & Røgeri—just five minutes from the house. The menu is simple but delicious, and the prices are reasonable! The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which we really appreciated. Overall, we were super happy with our stay in this lovely house on a beautiful Danish island.
