Unfortunately, things changed, and we arrived later than expected yet the property was again very accommodating to my arrival and checking in to the property was easy! An extremely comfy and cosy place to stay even in winter. The hot tub was good fun. Great place to stay with a dog as there is lots of space to walk them. Martin was excellent and provided anything we needed at a moments notice. Easy drive to local attractions. Most relaxing place we've stayed in a while.

The property was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, so warm, cosy and just an all round amazing stay. The hosts really went the extra mile with the welcome basket and extras in the fridge for our arrival. The beds were so comfy, great location and all of our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Completely quiet location, spotlessly clean, very nicely furnished, comfortable beds. Anti-midge nets in bedroom windows! The bathtub with Scottish salts and bubblebath available for guests makes it practically a wellness stay for weary hikers. A beautiful welcome pack from hosts. Hiking and biking guides available on the bookshelves. Very prompt and easy communication with hosts. For a family of 4 ideal. There is no kitchenette with a stove/sink but that is duly notified beforehand and you find all the necessary dishes and utensils and a microwave to still have a simple dinner at home - plus the hosts take care of the dishes! For those dining out, easy walk to the lovely village with several good restaurants.
