Offering a garden and garden view, Christmas Cottage is located in Balmaha, 36 km from Lake of Menteith and 40 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens. Sue and her husband were such lovely hosts, friendly, helpful, and very warm and easy. As were the dogs. The cottage was recently renovated and everything worked well. The bed in primary bedroom is very firm. The out of the way location was perfect for us. Super quiet but only a 15 minute drive to the cute village of balmaha and nearby larger village of Drymen. Also the Ben Lomond hike trailhead was a 5 minute drive up the road. Perfect!
