We loved the interior, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, even though we didn't need it as we were only staying one night.Wish we could have stayed longer in this beautiful and peaceful place

The facilities were exceptional with a nice LARGE bath, plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very caring and filled the fridge with delicious local food, including the legendary Okayama Pione grape. Will come again next time we need to stay at Okayama!

Staff at the nearby gallery is kind and attentive, and provided instructions in English about every aspect of the house and stay. Delicious bread, jam and fruit provided everyday for breakfast. The location is perfect, right at Bikan hostorical quarter and within walking distance from Kurashiki Station, making it the perfect base for exploring the entire Okayama area.

The house was beautiful, modern, spacious and comfortable for my family of five. It was in a quiet location but close to Okayama.

This traditional Japanese home was very comfortable. There are lots of airconditioning units so it was comfortable even when cold outside. The host was so very kind and generous. We were lucky to meet him in person. There is a coffee shop nearby that opens at 6am and many convenience stores as well as a supermarket in walking distance. We had a vehicle and the host arranged parking for us.

We loved the こたつkotatsu. Very calm and peaceful. Public transportation is doable with some effort. We also enjoyed cycling around the countryside with the bikes provided.

Although it only had a few reviews all of them are true that this place is an amazing find!!!
