And located close to Oslo, but was a quiet oasis. Would highly recommend a stay!

1850 Old Farmhouse Retreat with jacuzzi and sauna is gelegen in Eidsvoll, op 5,3 km van Eidsvoll 1814, en biedt een patio, tuin, en gratis WiFi. The home was beautifully renovated. The hosts thought of everything. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable (fire for the wood stove and the sauna, hot chocolate/tea with an easy-to-use hotpot, welcome snacks, extra linens). A truly lovely place. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Villa Thorse beschikt over uitzicht op de zee, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een patio, op 40 km van station Oslo Centraal. We loved everything about Villa Thorse! The location, neighbourhood, beds, kitchen - everything! I cannot even begin to describe the views and the location of this place. There were six of us and the villa was perfect for us. Bedrooms are upstairs and the sofa/bed for kids was downstairs. Bedrooms upstairs were a bit hot, but that's because we were there when it was five days of hot sun - in the middle of summer. Won't complain though, the weather was perfect for long walks around Drøbak. Oslo was close with a car and there was a ferry going to the near Oscarsborg fortress/museum island every hour from dusk till dawn. We were supposed to stay only a couple of nights at first, but decided to extend the visit to a week (before arriving). Best choice I've ever made :) There were so much to see and do, the week felt way too short. Never felt so sad to leave a place. Thank you for everything, Ellen, We WILL be back! :))

Everything has been outstanding, first of all the owners are simply delightful. They are helpful, friendly and very accommodating. The location is perfect if you don’t need to stay in downtown Oslo. There’s a ferry that takes you to Oslo in 25 mn, parking at the terminal and the ride is very enjoyable. This house is absolutely gorgeous. You would enjoy every minute not to mention the view. Don’t miss this place, it would be a pity.

The location was incredible, just next to a small ferry terminal, but at the same time private. The view is exceptional, and the west facing garden was a perfect spot for grilling until late in the evening.
