Amazing place - the highlight of our trip! There is so much that was great. The new accommodation is fabulous - 2 bed apartments, one a mezzanine, with the most tremendous architecture and stunning views over the Quinta’s valley. Fernanda was an extraordinary hostess, she went far out of her way to give us an intimate tour of the wine production and a perfect sunset tasting with nibbles. You really are a part of the farm, not separate - we were encouraged to wander through the vineyards and pick almonds from the trees. The Quinta is on a beautiful plateau with quiet roads, great for local wanders and runs, rural with dreamy views. The wine was amazing - some of the best while we had all the trip, and tremendous value. The swimming pool is quite chilly, though location is perfect, nestled in the vineyards.

D'Autor Village on hiljuti renoveeritud villa, mis asub Valadares'is, Douro muuseumist 26 km kaugusel. Basseinist avaneb vaade mägedele. Everything! Outstanding location, amazingly beautiful and full of charm. Hospitable and friendly staff, magical feel to it. I Recommend wholeheartedly!!!

What a wonderful place to stay. Location was perfect for a 3 day trip to the area. The facilities were great and the welcome wine was, well, very welcome. Mario and Helga were superb, very responsive and helpful in organising taxis (Laurinda, the taxi driver, lovely too). The facilities late great and the claw foot bath with a view over the valley was a the icing on the cake. A fabulous, relaxing and beautiful place. P.s the parking was not as tricky as some reviews suggest (there were 3 vehicles in the parking lot for the first 2 days with no problem - bit tight getting in / out but not too bad).

We liked the personal approach and introduction of the house. And also helped us orient us in the town. Spacious, comfortable for the whole family. Kitchen fully equipped with basic ingredients for a breakfast. Washing mashine was also useful.

We recently stayed at Helena’s house and were very impressed. The property was spacious, offering plenty of room to move around comfortably. Everything was spotless, with a noticeable attention to cleanliness throughout. Helena prepared a breakfast fit for kings! Her hospitality shines through. Highly recommended!

Super clean, quiet, 20 minutes walk to town. Upstairs apartment accessible by independent entry door. Residential neighborhood with balcony and views of small home farms. Morning is greeted by rooster and bird calls (if you open the windows - otherwise you don’t hear anything with them closed). Thoughtful, responsive, and accessible host Felip, met us at the apartment and greeted us with a smile, a tray of homemade wine, jam and port. Very appreciated! He recommended a wonderful restaurant where we had a superb meal (the roasted chicken and grilled steak) were delicious!

Casa Nunes asub Pinhãos. Kohapeal on konditsioneer, järvevaatega bassein ja rõdu. The host was so kind and generous. It’s an adorable place in a beautiful location. Also, the daily bread delivery was awesome.

Salgueiral Guest House Douro asub Peso da Réguas, 1,6 km kaugusel Douro muuseumist ja 16 km kaugusel Püha Neitsi Maarja Varjupaigast. During our trip to the Douro Valley, we were amazed by the exceptional hospitality of the host. He welcomed us with warmth and care, showing generosity in everything – from recommendations to pleasant surprises. It was obvious he poured his heart into creating this place. The apartment itself was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully equipped: a fully stocked kitchen, a spacious living room, and many important little details. It was the perfect retreat for relaxation. We sincerely recommend this place to anyone seeking a homely atmosphere and an unforgettable experience in the Douro Valley.
