The room was extremely clean, perfect size for a couple. The bed was super comfy, shower was good and loved having fridge for drinks and food for the night. Breakfast was good selection, liked having the choice of white/chocolate milk and all the juices. All staff that we interacted with were very kind. Location was also perfect from where we were coming from and where we were travelling to.

I found that there was a good variety of different types of cuisines available at different price ranges. The view of the Detroit skyline from Windsor along the Detroit River was impressive. The shore line facing Detroit boasts well maintained and landscaped areas with park benches to rest if needed to sit and enjoy the view.

We travelled to enjoy dinner at THE COOK SHOP, a restaurant my husband likes but we also enjoyed driving around some of the neighborhoods, especially little Italy. GREAT coffee and pastries at Gina Cafe & Bar. We would be regulars there. The coffee was terrific and the Pastries were extraordinary. The ambience was great too as was the service. Wish we lived closer.
We visited Belle Isle on the way home and that was terrific too.

It has a very nice park area along the Detroit River, with many walking paths. Being across the river from Detroit a person has many opportunities to go to Detroit for sporting events, concerts or anything else one can think of.

We can’t really complain we had a great time. The only complaint I have is the cost was high for a one night stay and the wifi wasn’t working the greatest. Overall it was a great time and we would love to return in the future

We took this trip on the recommendation of an article in the Toronto Star of a weekend trip to Windsor (we live in Toronto) and I agree that it's an ideal place to explore for a weekend. Stay on the riverfront near downtown if possible, it's a great view and downtown store and restaurants are in easily walkable distance. Take a river cruise for an overview of both the Windsor and Detroit waterfronts. Learn about the history of Canadian whisky at the Hiram Walker and Sons distillery and tour the adjacent planned city of Walkerville set up in the 1980s. Sample Windsor-style pizza (we liked Armando's). Jackson Park is beautiful, and visit Dieppe Gardens (with the historic Spirit of Windsor steak locomotive and the Windsor Sculpture park along the river front.

We were booked to Stay in Windsor for 3 nights.
We were booked to Stay in Windsor for 3 nights. We left after 2.
Our trip there was for a concert and to have fun at the casino. The casino was the most underwhelming casino I have ever been to. Didn't really explore much of the city but from what we did see, it was definitely way more terrible than I was expecting. Most of the people we met though were very nice and friendly. And the couple bars we visited were great, which were Eastwoods Grill and the Loose Goose. Staff at both places were top notch!
The Stone croft Inn is a 2 stars hotel that gives you the service of a 3 or a 4 stars hotel !!
Everything is perfect ; spacious eco friendly rooms , located on the main with minutes walking distance from Walmart and restaurants .
Rooms are clean , staff are welcoming and they apply all COVID related rules and regulations .
The bed and pillows are really comfy and this is a sensitive topic for me since my neck hurts easily from uncomfy pillows .
This hotel is a perfect choice for a stay in Windsor
Location was excellent. Right on the trail and minutes from the Detroit Windsor tunnel or bridge. Nicely updated private bathroom with decent water pressure. Clean room with small closet and chairs with table to set all your things. There was no balcony seating so I just used a chair from the room and put it back when finished. Nice west-facing view from balcony overlooking river and downtown Detroit. Easy self access to house and room. Other guests were no issue.
View from room was amazing! Room was more than we needed, modern and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Facilities were closed for renovations, will be back to visit thr new facilities for sure! Location perfect for most everything by waterfront including casino. Close enough to go back to the room a few times throughout casino visit. All over a great stay!!
Location was great as we we waned to go to the casino and use the boardwalk.
so close to everything and very clean.
enjoyed being able to sit in the holiday inn restaurant and enjoyed the food that was prepared for breakfast, everyone was helpful and nice to us.
It's a cheap hotel which gives you the bang for the back you pay. It's nothing fancy but it was clean, the AC worked well, and we had no issues, really. If I needed to do a stop-over in Windsor (which was the case), I'd certainly consider this spot again.
After a credit card rejection that we corrected and you confirmed, they gave away are rooms. Every hotel in Windsor was full and we ended up at a fleabag motel that was disgusting. Thanks for nothing. Horrible experience!!!!!
Specious room.
Relatively calm location and not far from the university area, downtown, the bridge to USA & the riverside, etc.
Parking availability.
AC was on before we've arrived.
It is a very quiet hotel, well maintained, clean, and has a very friendly staff. This is my preferred place to stay in Windsor. I live just across the river, so it it close by.
large room overseeing the Detroit River and downtown Detroit (Augustus tower); very comfortable king size beds; clean and well-appointed swimming pool with helpful attendants
Very clean! I was surprised cause the value was relatively cheap. It also had a small kitchen area, full with an oven! Very well organized and clean space.
The hotel and casino were very clean. The staff was very polite and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again! ps.. the rooms need a microwave.
Locations was convenient, only about 8 minutes drive from downtown. Continental breakfast was great, and the guy manning the breakfast area was superb!
