I enjoyed my stay at Hatton Court Hotel, I found it very relaxing with its beautiful surroundings and stunning location: my room had a spectacular view. A special thank you goes to the hotel team, they're friendly and extremely helpful. I would love to go again in some time to visit other villages nearby.

Not clean carpets and the bath drainage was blocked and not draining properly.
Some old leather chair that looked as if fungi growing on it. I could nt even get myself to set on it. The floor was squeaking and premier in where we spent the two nights before was cheaper and by far better quality
The Edward Hotel is a just 10-minute walk from Gloucester Cathedral and Gloucester Train Station.

The availability of a fridge and a microwave in the room, plus the option of a general purpose room for food preparation.
The close proximity to the centre of town.
Tesco 2 mins walk.
Bus stop for Cheltenham outside the hotel.
Despite being on a main road and full capacity the hotel was very quiet.

Perfect location for the Tall Ships/Shanty festival. Basic…a little ‘tired’ but clean!
Host was super welcoming and friendly. Was lovely having a spot of fresh milk in fridge on arrival.
Also microwave in room with crockery/cutlery that folk might find useful…we didn’t use..but we thought it was a nice touch.

Good clean quiet facilities.
Friendly staff who were happy to help. Exceptional bar tender (Dee) who went the extra mile and made us laugh and feel welcome! Her charismatic personality kept drawing us back to your restaurant night after night! Really appreciated her.

We liked the old town which was very pretty but not pretentious. A bit run down in places but lots of new developments too, eg the Gloucester Docks. Lots of independent pubs and restaurants, not overpriced. Friendly people. Lots of history. Everything really close to centre and quiet for a city (except for the seagulls)!

Beautiful cathedral which is what we came to see.
Beautiful cathedral which is what we came to see. Good transport links to other towns - Worcester and Tewkesbury. Docks area is attractive with restaurants, bars etc. and the area around the cathedral has some nice shops, tea rooms etc.

It’s very easy to reach Gloucester from the hotel especially if you like shopping at the Gloucester Quays. Found it very handy to get to Stroud and Painswick as well and the M5 motorway.
I personally wouldn’t use the bistro pub for meals at the Gloucester quays- the high orchard. Microwave meals with the wrong prices still in the menus and bar staff manager who couldn’t give a toss.
Cheltenham is nice to eat in if you fancy a day out and lots of dog friendly places too.

We wanted lots of choice of food and night time entertainment . Although the food we had was good in the main it was the usual branded restaurants. Night time bar entertainment very limited. Not very much high octane adventure to be had here. Won’t be rushing back

Yes gloucester is a nice area.
Yes gloucester is a nice area. But I would avoid staying at the new Inn, the management isn't fit for purpose. I've bren in other places with better management and more customer awareness. Management highly sensitive, room needs refurbishment. Just remember if you do stay there avoid saying something management doesn't like at the new inn, or you end up with a wooden bed, no shower or mattress. They get your money and you get free accommodation from his majesties police force. Don't waste your money, there is better accommodation in the area. Otherwise the area has great views, canal walks, and walks in general. And other stuff going on for it. It's a gorgeous place
Central Hotel was very good value for money. We had a spacious room, well-fitted bathroom and comfy beds. The fridge and microwave are great additions. Everything was very clean.
Parking is at the nearby multi storey, accessible via the shopping centre opposite the hotel. This was easy.
The location is within easy walking distance of the cathedral (well worth a visit) and quayside, with many restaurants and a cinema.
Staff were all pleasant and helpful.
Its a quirky hotel, steeped in history. I really liked my room at the front on the first floor. The floorboards creaked and were at a slight angle sloping from the door - which you'd expect of a building of this vintage. Its located right in the middle of Gloucester - so walking to all the main attractions are no more than minutes away. Staff were friendly and very attentive. All good!
Lovely surroundings. The hotel was really clean in public areas and room. Extremely comfortable environment.
Bedroom had great facilities, was spotlessly clean with everything you may need including plenty of sockets and USB points. Holiday Inn never fails to disappoint. Much better than the other Gloucester hotels and near to the City, Cheltenham and the M5.
Friendly and comfortable hotel right in the centre of Gloucester, perfect location for pretty much everything in the city. Comfortable, clean room and friendly, helpful staff. There was a bit of a mix up with our room not being ready after we booked an early check-in, but we were quickly moved to another (bigger) room. Would stay there again
The owner was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant, and provided everything we needed (& more!) Hotel is perfectly located to explore Gloucester and next to the Docks and restaurants. Very comfortable beds also. We’ll definitely be back!
Nice, clean hotel with really friendly staff. We had our supper and breakfast at the hotel. Supper was really delicious! We had spa access included with our room booking and we had a really relaxing time there. Lovely location from Gloucester and not far from the Cotswolds.
Great location and facilities. All of the staff are very friendly. Dogs are welcome all over the hotel (including the bar and lounge, but not the restaurant) and all the staff are comfortable with dogs. The food is also excellent quality and reasonably priced.
Location was excellent for me. Not far from where I had to get to. I didn't stay long enough to take advantage of the facilities as I had to get up early but I was pleased with everything about the hotel. So much I booked up to return at the end of the month.
It was very nice place. Very comfortable. Walkable to town, bus and train station. Had a nice view from our window. I would definitely come here again on our yearly trip to gloucester.
Staff was wonderful friendly and the light breakfast was perfect
Good location - near town and station but quiet. The hotel owner was friendly and knowledgeable; he gave us useful tips to enhance our stay in Gloucester. Ideal location to catch the frequent bus to Cheltenham from practically outside the front door.
Very central and comfortable no frills hotel. The staff accommodated our early arrival by taking our bags and placing them into the room when it was ready while we went to the rugby match, so that was very much appreciated.
Very convenient location at the Gloucester Quays. Well stocked kitchen and apartment was very comfortable. Well laid-out apartment for use of the living room and TV for a pleasant stay.
Great hotel. very clean rooms, great location, easy parking, breakfast great and staff very friendly. value for money. Would definitely return when in Gloucester again
