Staying on Poole Quay was great.
Staying on Poole Quay was great. A lovely stroll along the waterfront with views to Brownsea Island. You can take a boat trip around the Harbour, alighting at Brownsea as one of the destinations. Poole Quay has cafes, bars, good restaurants, very good fish and chips from a quayside hut. It's a short stroll to Poole Old Town with its shops and further along to main Poole Shopping Centre. Very good local transport links to Bournemouth and suburbs. Infact easy to get anywhere like Swanage, Weymouth, Salisbury etc.

It’s a lovely location.
It’s a lovely location. Lots of really nice places to eat out and plenty of good shops. We didn’t venture too far away, but I would definitely recommend a trip to Brownsea Island. We also visited Sandbanks, Wareham and Corfe Castle, all very close by.

We looked around the harbour and went on a boat trip of the harm=bour and sandbanks which was very interesting. We were due to go the the speedway but this was cancelled due to the weather which was disappointing but the speedway was really easy to find and there looked like there would be ample parking. We also spent time in Bournemouth.
We ate at the Quay café where we had breakfast it was fab
Beautiful hotel and room. Hotel is in a quiet mainly residential area of town. The host Chris and all the staff at breakfast where friendly and helpful. Chris was available if needed also. Lovely continental breakfast. I didn’t have time to fully appreciate the location but I would say it almost perfect if you came for a short break or holiday because it is so close to the promenade and sea and I should imagine lovely walks to Bournemouth or Sandbanks and Poole.
Due to my wife’s terminal cancer we,Went for an apartment rather than a hotel room This was the right decision it was warm and comfortable and my wife felt at home it’s a pity the weather wasn’t better. I would thoroughly recommend the apartments to anybody in my family I am going to a wedding next year in POOLE and the apartments will be my first choice to stay.
The hotel is beautiful and in a lovely old part of Poole. We had an issue with our room which was sorted immediately by Sam on reception who also really kindly upgraded our room. The upgraded room was absolutely gorgeous and really made the stay. The shower was incredible! She even took our luggage there for us which is no mean feat with no lifts!
I've stayed in many Holiday Inn Express hotels in the US and this one in Poole was exceptional. Friendly staff. The breakfast was so organized and the staff kept everything immaculate. High praise for this establishment. I'll remember to book a room again if I travel this way.
Beautifully furnished top floor two bedroom apartment with floor to ceiling windows on corner of building offering a magnificent panoramic view around Poole Bay. Just a few minutes walk from the Quay via old quarter of Poole, steeped in interesting history.
Lovely hotel friendly helpful staff, particularly restaurant staff who were very attentive. Food in the restaurant was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. Room was very comfortable, we asked for heating to be adjusted and it was attended to immediately.
The meals at the hotel were excellent, generous portions and very tasty. The hotel location was on a bus route with a speedy service to Poole centre and Bournemouth. The staff were excellent, polite, professional and efficient.

We asked for an early breakfast, which was supplied. The hotel was clean and well styled. Rooms were very comfortable and we were made to feel welcome. I would stay here again if travelling via Poole
The atmosphere of the hotel was so relaxed, and yet so efficient. I will certainly return soon, the Poole area is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas of Bournemouth
Very well located with an extremely comfortable bed, great shower and an exceptionally welcoming and host. I will definitely return if I need somewhere to stay in Poole again.
