We had a wonderful stay, and would love to come and stay again one day. Catriona was very warm and welcoming and gave us lots of good tips for our trip. The house is stunning, the room was very comfortable and the morning breakfast was delicious! Thank you so much!

We didn't spend much time in Letterkenny other than for dinner. We ate at the Yellow Pepper which i would highly recommend. It's a robust town that i would have liked to explore and the surrounding area but we were on our way to another area of Donegal. We cabbed to dinner so we were able to have a few glasses of wine with dinner. Cabs were easy to get just outside the bank. Quick ride home with good service. Traffic during rush hour was busy although not as busy as a larger city.

Just used it as a base, plus it was a bank holiday and shops were all closed. So left in the morning and didn’t come back until evening. But it was a busy town traffic wise. 3.30 in the morning and traffic was still driving down the Main Street. Could see it but noise wise we couldn’t hear it.

I want to the hotel for a small one nite break but now think it was too short, 2 or more nites wud be more beneficial, the hotel staff were very helpful, the food in the restaurant was 1st class as cud not fault it, the facilities where brilliant as the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi was a bliss just relaxing and no cares, next time 2 or more days as can be used as a base and travel around, 5/5 for me 👍

Letterkenny is a sprawl and would avoid other than to go to a couple the restaurants.
But it’s easily bypassed and there are wonderful scenic drives awaiting. Fanad peninsula - Malin Head for example.

There was a lot more to do in the town than I had initially thought. Good retail shops in the retail park and in the town centre. Cathedral is worth a visit. It is a good centre to stay at for exploring mid to northwest Donegal county. Marble Hill strand, Bloody Foreland and Downings are not too far by car. Camille Thai restaurant was very good value - just on edge of the Retail park past Aldi.

Had a great two days in Letterkenny plenty of shops and a good variety of shops to spend your money. Great places to eat and drink may I say but my only complaint is that you can't get anything to eat before 13.30 on a Sunday .
❗️DO NOT BOOK TO STAY AT THIS PROPERTY❗️
Arrived at the accommodation- door locked and no access from the back. Rang the owner multiple times to which he didn’t answer. We then had to book a hotel costing us a further €200. Another couple arrived and also couldn’t get in or get in contact with the owner. We were left standing on the side of the street with all of our luggage.
This man is a fraud and scammer and I will be taking this further In order to get our money back!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Lovely hotel, just on edge of the town of Letterkenny, situated by the side of a busy road. Our room was very comfortable, warm and clean, tea and coffee making facilities too. As well as shower facilities there was also a bath.
This hotel has it's own swimming pool and leisure facilities, which we did not use.
We ate dinner in the main bar, very tasty, well served. We did not have breakfast.
Any staff we met were helpful and friendly.
Would recommend the Clanree Hotel.
It is on the best location. Everything in the Letterkenny is walking distance apart. Park house is around the corner. It is as described in the Booking.com. Breakfast warm - traditionally British (egg, ham, sausage, beans, …) and it is not self-served. The cold dishes (beverages, cheese, salami, fruits) are self-served. I miss normal continental bread but this is not just in this hotel it is all around Ireland.
Rooms were nice and comfortable, staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Dominic & kieran, also the manager who worked at the bar. They made us feel welcome and were great to talk to, My bf didn't want to leave the bar. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this hotel. We have been to plenty of hotels, but dillons hotel would be hard to beat, 5* experience.
An old fashioned country home that now serves as a hotel. The rooms were all different and the furniture seemed to be authenticly vintage. Our bathroom seemed to be a modern addition and was well appointed. Breakfast was fabulous and well worth including in a visit. Everything was made to order and was delicious.
I wasnt expecting muchits been nearly 2 years since i stayed here but due to work i had to stay an extra night and the hotel i was staying at for 2 nights couldnt facilitate me as they where booked out (sat night which is fine)so this was only hotel availble in letterkenny location and bar are good food ok
So close to St Eunans and Main Street LetterKenny. It was bustling and busy during the day, but really quiet at night. Slept well. Clean, had all we needed to self cater. We liked watching the Olympics and a bit of Netflix after being out and about all day.
The hotel is very central but our room wasn't noisy. The room was a nice size and clean. The breakfast was good. We also ate dinner at the hotel and later they had several musicians who played and sang Irish songs. Parking was free.
Our hosts were amazing and friendly. The apartment had everything you could need from breakfast items to hair dryer. The view was amazing, we sat on the deck and Maria ran us out cushions and blankets. A lovely place to stay!
Beautiful place to stay. We liked everything about this hotel. French style furniture, view from the window. And breakfast... We would definitely go back
Beautiful clean hotel with the most friendly staff here for one night for my little girls holy communion they enjoyed it so much and will be back again
