We flew in from Canada to see relatives that live in Swords. Most in walking distance from the 44. It's a great location for our needs. Rooms are cute. Kept very clean. I'd say recently renovated. The pub on the main floor was excellent. Nicest Guinness in the area. The staff are amazing. Jerry and Anna made our visits in the pub friendly and full of laughter. All the staff were amazing. Food was top notch. I had a full Irish Breakfast twice and many lunches. We will be back to stay there next year! I special shout out to my new Local friend, Owen!

It’s in a great spot, the pub is lively with a really happy vibe, the bar staff are very friendly and accommodating and even though it’s lively in the bar you can’t hear it from your room. Transport into the city is good and there’s a good shopping centre on your doorstep with lots of restaurants and a cinema. Really liked it and where it’s situated and would definitely stay there again.
Carefully restored to retain the character of the original Roganstown House, this is a magnificent Georgian house on the 300-acre Roganstown Estate. It boasts an AA Rosette award-winning restaurant.

A good hotel with helpful staff. Sone parts of the hotel might need a little renovation/updating such as the spa. Location nice and quiet.

We were served tea when we arrived for check-in. Very friendly hosts. Super accommodating to add an extra bed in our room for our adult daughter who traveled with us at the last minute.

It was busier and bigger than I expected but offered all needed. The Swords Express Bus service works really well. You need exact coins as no change nor card facilities are offered on the bus. Swords is the perfect destination for exploring the area; being close to the airport and for frequent trips into Dublin. It also gives easy access to the Motorway if you wish to explore a further afield.

We chose the Old Borough Hotel because it was easy distance to the airport. We have been to Wetherspoons on many occasions so know what to expect meals/drinks wise etc. Was super impressed with the hotel accommodation.

if like me you need this for a layover at Dublin Airport, don't choose this one. It's not on a bus route or walkable so you have to take a cab, which added $20 to my stay. The curtains didn't close all the way and I happened to be on the first floor looking directly at peoples cars. One of only two USB ports didn't work but thankfully one did so I could set an alarm and make it to the airport on time.

I was extremely excited to go to this hotel from the pictures that I viewed and was deeply disappointed when we arrived. Our room looked nothing like any of the photographs. I would never have stayed there if I saw the quality of the room. I will not be back.

Good place for breakfast is the Gourmet Food Parlour for dinner go to the Wine House.
Good bus services and plenty of taxis
Do not stay at the Travel Lodge near the Airport
A good place to stay is Roganstown Golf and Country Club
Very clean and quiet location. Room had everything I needed for an overnight stay. The wardrobe for breakfast items was very cool.
Dominika was a great host and gave great tips on where to go in town. Bumble was disappointed she was too shy to take a pic with him though 😃
I wish I was there a little longer, Swords had a great vibe and things to do. The Old Schoolhouse Pub was definitely worth the walk. Bus stop is across the soccer field or it’s a 20 minute taxi.
Will definitely stay here again if I get to Dublin again.
It was quite the surprise. it was a nice area to stay for the night layover for Dublin Airport. There was a very comfortable pub down stairs that was very inviting as were the staff. The room was beautiful and rustic with old stone walls even a fireplace. The room was big enough fire for a small couch in front of a TV and also a separate sitting area. the bathroom also had a bathtub and a separate walk in rain shower.
Love this place. Stayed there twice. Big bedroom very comfortable beds . I always have the best sleep here .Rooms nice and warm in the winter without the air being stuffy. Super clean. Plenty of toiletries , teas and coffee making facilities. Staff very friendly . Well cooked Irish breakfast, generous portion to set you up for the day. Very near to Dublin airport and Tayto Park. Would highly recommend.
Hosts' Mary and Jimmy were exceptional in every respect as was the standard of the property, and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
You are instantly are made to feel very welcome. I 100% preferred this to any hotel, and would definitely book again if I am in Dublin. Many thanks to Mary and Jimmy.
Convenient for Dublin airport , but in a nice quiet country location.
I checked into this hotel in May I was travelling to France the next day so proximity to the airport was my key issue - This property ticks all the boxes for this and the staff will call you a taxi for the next morning, it is clean, safe, and friendly - Good value for money as Dublin hotels go now and of course close to the airport which is the main thing.
The location near the airport was very convenient. We were able to walk to a pharmacy and grocery store not too far away. We took a very nice walk to Swords which is a fun little town to visit with a castle and nice pubs and restaurants. The staff was great and we were given an early check-in which was great as we arrived very early in the morning.
This hotel is 10 minutes from Dublin airport and that's why we chose it. But it's nothing like a boring airport hotel. It's got charm and character and you can walk to several good restaurants within a few minutes. Very kind and helpful staff and bonus points for the hotel hiring Ukrainian refugees.
Good location for Dublin golf courses. Swords and Dunabate had great pubs. Not the place to stay if you want to tour City Center Dublin, but the perfect place to stay if you want to play the great Dublin golf courses and tour the Malahide castle. Easy access to the Dublin airport as well.
Mary and Jimmy could not have been more welcoming. We had an early flight and they made sure we had breakfast before we left and helped with directions. The property is beautiful and peaceful and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you for a great last night in Ireland!
The owner was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the bus stop and travel all over this part of Ireland, switching to trains when needed. It was in a rural setting but easy to get to Swords by bus. The breakfast was great and the decor was beautiful.
Close to airport, walking distance to downtown swords, some things were older and very cute, but still very clean and comfortable. Mostly quiet hotel. Front desk was always helpful.
Swords is cute with its own castle and downtown.
Loved so many things , unlike big name hotels it felt clean , it felt safe , breakfast was amazing . The area had a lovely village feel and it was lovely ti be able to give our teens a little freedom to explore
Everything, completely exceeded my expectations, the rooms and facilities were amazing and will stay here every time I am flying from Dublin Airport going forward.
Would book this hotel in a heartbeat again 👍
Location close to Dublin Airport (maybe 4 Kms). In a nice small town with places to eat including the hotel site (where I had a nice meal), pubs nearby, even historic castle ruins a short distance away.
Great bar on site for good bar food and a final couple pints of Guinness before we left Ireland. Way better value and atmosphere than staying in one of the vanilla airport hotels!
This is a great hotel and brilliant value for money. It's super clean, cosy with lovely rooms and good facilities. The best of the Dublin airport hotels.
