This friendly hotel has lovely views over the sea and estuary and offers good-value food. It is a good base for visits to Waterford, Cashel, Cork City and Cobh.

Mary the host was a gem, made me feel very welcome..Wonderful lady..it was like home from home.
The picturesque view was amazing too.
Highly Recommended
Youghal is located at a river estuary. It has a history - we stayed at the Sir Walter Raleigh hotel - and a number of historic buildings in town and on the water front. We stayed overnight. I had a long, interesting, exploratory trip along the boardwalk along a wide, blue flag beach. It’s a destination for family holidays, it’s well worth a stop on a trip along the south coast of Ireland.
Fabulous unspoilt seaside resort. Charming friendly people. Magnificent sunsets & beaches galore. Easy walking around town and along the promenade/strand. Bertie’s pub for great Guinness & atmosphere even on rainy afternoon.
Clancy’s for great food & service.

I love Youghal.
I love Youghal. I have been visiting and sometimes staying there for years. For a seaside resort I find it very peaceful. Plenty of places to eat and everyone has been very friendly. Clancy's is probably my most favourite bat/restaurant. Good value for money.

Youghal was a lovely town with lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Signs indicate that a parking disk is required but the Tourist Board told us when we were there that parking was free everywhere. Would be sensible to check if this is still the case.

Youghal is a lovely friendly seaside town.
Youghal is a lovely friendly seaside town. The newly extended boardwalk makes for a scenic walk. There is a long beach with some great views all year long. Had breakfast in a little cafe named 'Sage'. Had a full Irish breakfast for €10. I could not recommend this cafe more.

Youghal is a busy town, lots of shops and places to eat.lovely to walk around and sit looking out at the sea. Was sad to see that a no. of shops are closing down, obviously the result of COVID 19. Smashing little cinema there too.
The view from the balcony is spectacular! We loved having our morning tea sitting on the porch. The hosts are very personable and attentive. We only stayed one night on our way from on place to another, but would have enjoyed having more time. Youghal is a great village with an interesting history and plenty of places to visit. Also enjoyed the local restaurants. Looking forward to visiting again!
We stayed at Avonmore for 2 nights. The breakfast at this B & B was exceptional. Beautiful food so well prepared and presented. It set us up for the day. John and Mary were lovely hosts and were very welcoming and friendly. Bed was so comfy and the room very spacious. We also enjoyed the outside garden space on a lovely sunny evening - which had very pretty lights at night time.
Devon House is a beautifully restored Georgian property with chic decor. It had all the charm and facilities offered by a boutique hotel. It was spotless and the breakfast was superb-excellent quality and an abundance of choice. Location was in central Youghal close to everything. Lucy (the owner) offers a warm welcome, great local information and is a lovely host!
The owner John and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast room was beautifully set out with lovely crockery.John offered to give us a lift to Youghal which was 5 minutes away, and we were grateful for that. Youghal itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the traditional bars, especially Tynans.
The room was fabulous, the host was so nice and welcoming, everything was super clean and so comfortable. I would recommend everyone to stay here if you want a relaxing few days away at the beach. It's better than any hotel, 100% will be booking here again when returning to Youghal.
Very tastefully restored hotel corridor and rooms into a quirky and delightful living space with great view of the sea. Colman and Jay has parking space kept for our bikes outside the front door. Great pub and restaurant across the street but do book if you want to eat on arrival .
The bonus of the stay was the staff.. funny, friendly barman, helpful receptionist, relaxed feel to the place, great service late at night when my daughter wanted a late drink at the bar. I have already recommended this hotel to anyone who will listen.
The B&B was easy to find, we always use the post code on our GPS.
The car park is directly outside.
Room #1 was spacious & very clean & had good Wi-Fi.
The bathroom was so large with a great shower.
The breakfast was prepared perfectly.
The location of the property couldn't be better. The town of Youghal with all of it's shops and restaurants is an easy walk in one direction and the beach is right outside your door in the other direction.
Location was good as it was near Youghal for the Ironman. Breakfast wasnt included but the host did leave some porridge and teas for us. The beds were good and the room itself was big.
Great Hosts, great Breakfasts, great Rugby banter with Peter, even though he’s a Munster man andI turned up in my Leinster cap!
Can’t recommend enough if you’re in East Cork
It was well located at the edge of Youghal from which you could enjoy the historic town and, in the other direction, the long boardwalk and the blue flag beach
Unexpected delicious breakfast provided & extremely spacious and comfortable rooms for all our party - including sea views, four poster bed and balcony.
