This place is sheer heaven, the most boutique of all the places we ever stayed in. You think you are on a remote Mediterranean island! Every corner is worth a postcard: the flowers, the plants, the balconies … It’s an interior architect’s dream. Staff is very welcoming and helpful and the restaurant excellent. You may not want to leave!

Such a great find so so happy with our stay at Samira Exclusive. The staff made it, they are so friendly and welcoming. Having an 11 month old it's a juggling act but the staff and guests were so accommodating and kind. The pool was perfect, nice and relaxing with a great bar and restaurant conveniently located. The food was great, typical Brit but the chips were amazing! Our daughter ate her weight in spaghetti bol. The location is perfect, be warned there are a lot of hills but you can't avoid them if you want to go into town.

A unique combination of the beautiful Turkish sea and unparalleled food options. For a town with a resident population of about 3,000 it has over 350 restaurants and bars, with many reaching a very high standard of cuisine. The roof terrace restaurants are superb and a repeatable experience. The beach club options cater for all tastes. There are plenty of things to do from boat trips to visits to the local heritage sites and a large variety of shopping. Locals are very welcoming.

Kalkan is a beautiful place but having been a few times I wont rush to go back. Nothing to do with the wonderful setting but more to do with the ridiculous noise coming from a few of the bars at night. Don't get me wrong if you are young and into bars where you need sign language to talk this could be the place for you. But later at night I like to chill but no matter where you went in town all you could hear was the noise battle between 2 bars cranked to volume 11 which drowned every bar near by. So not for me, day time yes but night time Not a chance.

We have been to the Mediterran Hotel three times now, so clearly we love it and would recommend it to anyone. Generally, I would say it’s a couples and groups hotel, not much for kids. It’s a fair way out of the main town which is nice, but for a couple of quid you can get a taxi into the centre or the port. The taxis are plentiful and you never have to wait more than a few minutes for one. The people are all very friendly and not too pushy when trying to get you to enter their restaurants. There are plenty of shops, where you can buy amazing fake clothing, most of which is of a reasonable quality, excellent, if you take into account you can by labelled trainers for £15-20! There are plenty of food and grocery shops if you are self-catering. In addition to having stayed at the Mediteran we have rent villas in Kalkan for family holidays. There is also a good market with food and clothing. Kalkan has provided us with many great holidays.

Kalkan was was a really nice resort.
Kalkan was was a really nice resort. Plenty to do but not too busy. There were plenty of great places to eat and the old town with its narrow cobbled streets were lovely to walk around. A visit to Seaport restaurant is a must, great food, great staff and great location.

A really beautiful area with stunning views and very kind people! The city center itself was a little too busy for us but, we went to a lot of great areas just around the city in Kaş, Fethiye etc. - very practical to rent a car to get around !

Kalkan is a fabulous place! Nice chilled atmosphere.
Kalkan is a fabulous place! Nice chilled atmosphere. Fantastic food didn’t have one bad meal in two weeks. Warm, friendly people. Great for all ages, couples and families. Very hilly in places even in the town so be mindful if walking issues.
This was our first visit to Kalkan and we chose Kalkansuites appartment because it looked totally nice and friendly from the pictures - and we were right! The owner of this place have paid so much attention to details, you get pleasantly surprised in every corner of it. The place is simply breathtaking! The view, the pool, the appartment - amazing! The breakfast in the Kalkan Suites Coffee House is one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever seen. The team is great, big respect and thank you for everything! We are definitely coming back soon!
we stayed in room 1112 (executive suite) and it was perfect with the best view of the sea and pool
Kalkan is just a 12 min walk down the hill which is easily done even in the heat and it’s only 30 TLR back up the hill after a day in one of the many stunning beach clubs that we liked to use after a morning by the pool
Kalkan in the evening is called the “little town in the sky” as it has so many room top restaurants which are all delightful
All in all you want go wrong staying here as hotel and town ate just beautiful
Lovely property, very helpful and hospitable hotel staff in a beautiful location. A Heads up, the hotel has hundreds of steep steps which are inevitable as you are required to climb them when going around the resort, so if you have weak knees, or are physically unfit- You should reconsider your choice. The dinner & breakfast was possibly the best in all of Kalkan ( we went around so trust me ;)). Lastly, there was a waterboat from the hotel port that took us to Kalkan Harbour/ Town which was great! This hotel is a gem.
The property was incredibly beautiful with gorgeous well -tended flowers, beautiful pool, incredible vistas into the Kalkan Bay and even a regular boat shuttle into the town marina. Room was beautiful, large, comfortable and clean. Check in and out were simple. Office staff and housekeeping staff were efficient and absolutely lovely. Breakfast meal was fresh, delicious and well cooked. Restaurant Staff was very friendly but overwhelmed by the number of clients. Overall I loved the place and would recommend highly!
As you enter the house and you hear the ding dong of the door bell you fell like at home. Actually, the delicate accuracy, the perfect cleanliness, the typical Turkish style with a touch of European delicatessen, the people who welcome you like family, the delicious breakfast, the amazing view, the lovely pets: everything made this house the perfect place where to be. My kids asked me to write the best review ever…not sure I have been to. If you have the chance, stop by for a few nights. You won’t regret it!
Comfortable and bright apartment, all necessities and utilities for a comfortable living are covered to more than expected extent. The views from the balcony are amazing. We received the apartment in clean state. Location is great, supermarket and the shore are within walking reach. We loved everything and would definitely book this apartment again if we were ever to visit Kalkan again.
Nice place and has good parking (especially for Kalkan :) ). The personnel was nice and welcoming, good size room, had comfortable beds, a good shower, and had small terrace for an evening chill. The hotel is located on a quiet street that still has cafes and restaurants and shops just 2 minutes away. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace deserves its own praise.
This is one of the very best pansiyon/hotel experiences I've had. Everything was top-notch. Selma and her co-workers are both very friendly and professional. I highly recommend you stay for dinner too as their cooking is better than any other restaurant in Kalkan. We will book here again if we ever return to Kalkan.
Breakfast was fine, even though the yolks of the boiled eggs were quite dry. The view was extraordinary.
Location was fine-good exercise to and from the beach.
Owner was exceedingly helpful assisting me with technology and wine selection.
The two lovely maids were also very helpful during my stay.
