shower drain was not working at all, towels were provided on request, no shower liquid/soap. old beds, not comfortable enough. Only good thing was, I left my key somewhere and they were able to give duplicate one, although I brought back the original one as well.

Known for its sandy beaches and good nightlife, Bournemouth is a popular seaside resort on the Dorset coast between Poole and Christchurch.
The town is centred on the Bourne River, running downhill towards the sea by Bournemouth Pier. This pier looks back towards a promenade lined with beach huts at the foot of grassy cliffs. The promenade continues west to Poole, while a road goes east to neighbouring Boscombe, where anglers often fish from its pier. Overlooking it is a clifftop road housing some Bournemouth hotels with sea views.
Booking.com also offers hotels near the BIC – Bournemouth International Centre in the West Cliff area. This convention centre and music venue is a short walk from the Art Deco Pavilion Theatre, located next to the Lower Gardens. In this popular city park is the Bournemouth Eye, a tethered hot air balloon that offers far-reaching views.
At the park’s top end the river disappears under a large square, then emerges in the Central Gardens. Overlooking these gardens is the Victorian town hall, which used to be one of several spa hotels in Bournemouth. Opposite is a Grade I-listed church, and St Peter’s Church has the grave of Mary Shelley, author of ‘Frankenstein’.
On the outskirts of town, near 4 golf courses and the Castlepoint Shopping Centre, is Bournemouth Airport.
Great beaches for kids, has a little fun fair on the pier.

Me and my fiance went with friends for our sten Do (stag&hen). It was pleasant weather, relatively affordable, good food & entertaining mini golf. We also went to the mini market Sunday morning which we all enjoyed. Would definitely recommend as it was not too busy.

Bournemouth is a very nice town with beautiful sandy beaches. There is plenty of choices for lunch and dinner.
It is a bit out-of-date and looks like its glory days are gone though, as there were many closed shops at the city centre and the feeling was it looked a bit sad and abandoned.

The problem with Bournemouth is it is rather run down...
The problem with Bournemouth is it is rather run down there are a lot of homeless people sleeping in doorways i think there were rumours of rats in the park but the bus system is brilliant we did go to swanage and Poole shopping overall I would go to Bournemouth again but would not walk about in the dark
I was impressed with everything. Staff were amazing and the breakfast was run very efficiently. The room was clean and comfortable. Location was also perfect. Opposite shopping and cinema and a short walk to the beach and pier. Stayed at few places in Bournemouth as visit my daughter and I would certainly stay here again. Unfortunately all hotels are expensive around the area but this was one of the cheaper options but certainly didn’t feel I was in a cheap hotel.
This was the best nights sleep me and my partner had in a long time! The hotel, room and gardens were decorated beautifully. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was phenomenal! Boscombe beach was 2 minutes away, and Bournemouth was 5 minutes on the bus - in fact we walked back from Bournemouth along the beach which didn’t take long at all. Couldn’t fault the hotel or our stay even if we tried!
We had a one night stay (should have been 2 but our ferry was cancelled) . Staff were very friendly,,bed was comfy & the breakfast was lovely. Beach was very close & the hotel even kept our cases safe as we weren't flying out until late in the evening. I've seen some reviews about the decor being dated but I felt that it was a real authentic English seaside experience. Will most definitely return & for longer next time.
This hotel is perfectly situated for an easy walk to music events at O2 Academy Bournemouth. The staff were very welcoming and efficient, the hotel was quiet even though many guests were staying there. The breakfast buffet manager was friendly and the food offering was very good with everything well laid out and to a very good standard. Good hot shower and beds were average but fine for a night. Free parking was great.
Absolutely perfect gem of a place !
Breakfast exceeded that of any top hotel and taking into account service and quality would out do any five star hotel . Victorian luxury at its best !.
This hotel is run by a lovely couple with a passion and pride for there job putting customers first .
There are many plans still to come and we will definitely keep our eye on this Bournemouth gem .
Booked for joint birthday celebration and theatre visit so we wanted something near the centre of Bournemouth plus parking, which is very expensive in the town car parks. The room was very warm and comfy, the staff were great and the breakfast was extremely good and plentiful. Easy stroll into town & all that it offers. This hotel was a great little find & I'd definitely book again.
Closure of the Heathlands Hotel resulted in us being transferred to The Royal Bath Hotel, Bournemouth. In view of our late rearrangements we were fortunate to get an upgrading to a fantastic room which overlooked the pier. Our stay was excellent in all respects so consequently have great pleasure in giving the hotel and staff a 5* rating. Bryan and Lynn Pickett.
The position of this hotel is ideal for Bournemouth Town centre and the beaches. The staff are polite and helpful. The food is good. The rooms are very warm but fans are provided. Everywhere was very clean. The toiletries in the bathroom were nice. There were lots of tea and coffee sachets with nice biscuits and bottles of water.
Hotel was clean, well maintained and the staff very helpful. The Games Room was a big bonus - my daughter's spent HOURS on the table tennis table!
The Buffet Breakfast, both cold and hot, was EXCELLENT and plenty of it. It is only a short walk from the Promenade into Bournemouth and the beach!
Very friendly and competent staff. Checking in and out was easy and quick. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel is in a very good location as it is really very close to the beach and about 30min walking distance from the train station.
good location, they have a nice lounge with entertainment, its proper value for money, especially when you only need the room to sleep in. its the first time ive seen a clean kettle in a hotel. the bathroom floor could be improved but its overall a great stay
Arrived much earlier than planned and we were able to park at the hotel, along with being able to check in early, which was a real bonus. The hotel is small, but ideally placed to explore Bournemouth, close to both the town and the seafront.
The hotel was well situated very near to Bournemouth beach and pier. There was onsite parking. There was a lovely family sized room with comfortable spacious beds, en-suite. Health and wellness centre with gym, pool and sauna.
Comfortable room with Tea and coffee making facilities, a sink and powerful shower.
Great location of hotel opposite the BIC and only 5 minutes walk from Bournemouth town centre and Bournemouth beach. Perfect.
Very clean, budget hotel with comfy beds and hot powerful shower.
The manager & staff are super helpful here - happily rebooked my nights when work in Bournemouth was cancelled.
