I liked the fact that the hotel isn't in the village itself, therefor it peaceful and quiet, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. To Malaucéne it's a 1.6 km walk. At the hotel there is a storage place, which you can look, to put your bicycle if you bring one along. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The breeze from the big windows and the scent of lavender were stupendous. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom radiator was useful. The hair-dryer was surprisingly good unlike the ones one usually finds at big hotel chains. The vintage cycling equipment was astonishing. We felt welcome and safe.

Unfortunately there were no Taxis in the area, so Richard drove us to Bedouin and even picked us up. We had a great evening and big breakfast the next morning to ride into Rousillon. We have talked about cycling Mont Ventoux, but staying in a great place that made us feel welcome makes our adventure that much special.
